39.
-- Camera-Ready Guidelines --
40.

 41.
Thank you for your co-operation in the preparation of the PARMA-DITAM 2014 Workshop proceedings. The workshop proceedings will be published in the ACM series and will also become available through ACM Digital Library. Therefore, all submissions MUST adhere to the ACM specification for compatibility.

 42.
The deadline for submitting the camera-ready version of accepted papers is
 43. Thursday December 19, 2013.

 44.

 45.
46. In the following, you can find the information on how to properly format your manuscript.

 47.
Paper Formatting Guidelines

 48.
Papers submitted to PARMA-DITAM 2014 must use the two-column ACM conference proceedings format, and must be submitted as a package (zip, rar, etc.) containing the source files (LaTex or Microsoft Word) and the PDF version of your paper labeled as follow: PARMA-DITAM-2014_"Lead Author" (for example PARMA-DITAM-2014_John_Smith). A template for Microsoft Word and LaTeX can be downloaded HERE. Use OPTION 2: LaTeX2e - Tighter Alternate style. You can download an example of paper here. The length of the long papers is limited to 6 pages, while the length of the short papers is limited to 4 pages. After completing the copyrights management form, authors will be emailed the correct rights management text and bibliographic strip to place within their paper (at the bottom of the first page, left column; an example is available here).

 49.
1) Copyright:

 50.
Along with the final version of the paper, each author
 51. has to submit a signed version of the copyright form. The authors will be contacted individually by ACM. ACM has an automated copyright form collection system for ACM published proceedings. As rights management emails are sent from an automated system, there is a chance that emails sent will wind up in SPAM folders. Please make sure to set email SPAM settings to allow emails from "rightsreview@acm.org"

 52.

 53. 2) Mandatory Sections:
 54.

 55.
Title of the paper (must be initial caps) -- Meaning
 56. First Letters of the Main Words Must be
 57. Capital Letters.

 58.
Authors' full names -- For every author, their first name, middle initial(s) (if any), and last name must to be included after the title of the paper on the first page

 59.
Affiliations -- EACH author's affiliation, department (if any), affiliation location, state, country, and email address MUST be included.

 60.
Abstract -- Include an abstract (short overview) of your paper on the first page top of the left hand column.

 61.
ACM Computing Classification Categories and Terms -- Authors should apply the ACM Computing Classification categories and terms. The templates provide space for this indexing. The Computing Classification Scheme can be found here.

 62.

 63.

 64. 3) Page Size and Page Breaks:

 65.
Submissions that do not conform to the ACM standards will be returned to the author. The page size is US Letter (8-1/2x11 inches). Do not submit your paper in A4 size or different sizes. Only US Letter will be accepted. Be sure that there are no bad page or column breaks -- Meaning no widows or orphans (last line of a paragraph at the top of a column). If this happens, either tighten the previous column or force a line feed. Section and Sub-section headings should remain with at least two lines of body text when near the end of a page or column. Do not modify the margins of the paper to gain space. If the margins are modified, the paper will be returned to the author.
 66.

 67.

 68. 4) Figures:

 69.
Figures may be printed in black
 70. and white (grayscale). We
 71. suggest that you test print a black and white version your paper to ensure that the illustrations reproduce
 72. well. Figures will appear in their original color in the pdf-files in
 73. ACM Digital library. We recommend images to be at least 300 or 600 dpi for quality reproduction.
 74.

 75.

 76. 5) Fonts:

 77.
Paper should have Type 1 fonts (scalable), not Type 3 (bit-mapped). All fonts must be embedded within the PDF file. Remember to check that all fonts are embedded and included in the figure
 78. correctly (Tip: try to avoid non-standard font sets in your figures).
 79.

 80.

 81. 6) Page Numbers, Headers, and Footers:

 82.
The final submission MUST NOT contain any footer in the footer area, headers or page numbers. The papers will be paginated in a determined order by the chair.
 83.

 84.

 85. 7) Footnotes:

 86.
Footnotes should be numbered in consecutive order throughout the text.
 87.

 88.

 89. 8) Acknowledgements:

 90.
The placement of the Acknowledgements is after the actual text of the paper, just before the References section, and after any Appendix(es). All acknowledgements of financial support must be placed as the first footnote below the first column of the paper. Write the Acknowledgements in the third person.
 91.

 92.

 93. 9) Camera-ready Submission:

 94.
Once your paper has been finalized, submit a package (zip, rar, etc.) containing the source files (LaTex or Microsoft Word) and the PDF version of your paper labeled as follow: PARMA-DITAM-2014_"Lead Author".pdf (for example PARMA-DITAM-2014_John_Smith.pdf) to the proceedings chair, Carlo Galuzzi, at the following email address: C.Galuzzi@tudelft.nl with the workshop name and the number of your contribution (PARMA-DITAM-2014 - # - Camera Ready) in the subject line.

 95.

 98. C.Galuzzi@tudelft.nl explaining your inquiry.
